Are you studying abroad next semester? Interested in visiting the Eternal City during the Jubilee Year? Fr. Juan José will be in Rome the weekend of October 4-5 and would love to be your guide! After living in Rome for four years, Father knows the city well and will be sure you check out the best gelato and restaurants in the city -- along with visiting St. Peter's Basilica, the other three Major Basilicas, the Vatican Museums, and of course, walking around Rome. Gayle: Music Ministry Intern
Not too far from her hometown of Greenville, SC, you might find Gayle in her new favorite place to pray - in the FAH Chapel late at night. Gayle loves chocolate ice cream, has a black belt in Taekwondo, is studying Choral Conducting at the University of Notre Dame, and is excited to learn more about the behind-the-scenes of church music ministry while growing closer to God this summer. Her first impression of Durham is that everyone is friendly!

EL-Natan: Development Intern
Studying Business Administration at Fisk University in Nashville, EL-Natan says that his favorite place so far in Durham is the chapel downstairs at the FAH, "the fact it is open 24/7 is indescribably beautiful." EL-Natan's hometown is Abuja, Nigeria and he loves mint chocoloate chip icecream and the BOGO deals at Publix!

Therese: Evangelization Intern
You might find Therese recording her Catholic podcast for young adults, working on a photobook full of her street photography, or enjoying some sausage, mushroom and ham pizza! Therese is studying Entrepreneurship and Sales, with a Certificate in Pastoral Ministry at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Therese says, "I love how I can have a conversation with complete strangers- it seems like so many people in Durham are open to the idea of community!"

You probably recognize this friendly face! Maryann is studying Electrical and Mechanical Engineering here at Duke and serves the DCC on our Student Director team! Maryann likes BBQ chicken pizza and is on Team Marvel. Her favorite saint is St. Augustine of Hippo and she hopes to grow in her faith through this internship this summer.
