Make your First Year a Transformational Experience at Duke
We know that without a community, it's hard to live your faith. We are created to live in communion with God and others. So, when you have friends, mentors, and resources, you can not only survive your time at Duke, you can thrive.
Starting college is an exciting yet challenging time as you transition away from the comforts of home to a demanding academic environment. Through engaging retreats, supportive small groups, and opportunities for spiritual growth, the Duke Catholic Center provides a home away from home where faith, friendship, and personal development thrive.
Welcome to Duke, Class of 2029!
The Duke Catholic Center looks forward to welcoming you to Duke! In conjunction to move-in day (8/16) and Orientation Week (8/17-8/22), the DCC is hosting the below opportunities for engagement.
FEAST OFF EAST
First-year students, and their families, are invited to a welcoming dinner at our East Campus location, the Falcone-Arena House (402 N. Buchanan) on Friday, August 15.
Stop in any time between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. to enjoy great food, meet other first-year students, and learn more about the Duke Catholic Center. This event is free and open to all new students at Duke!
