Mission Trips
- Foreign – Every Spring Break the Duke Catholic Center supports an International Mission trip. All
of the trips are service based, and can include anything from construction
to spending time with the disabled to playing with children. These
trips offer students the opportunity to experience a lifestyle much
different than what most Americans are used to. Nightly reflections
help students process the experience, as well as reflect on Faith
and Social Justice in a different setting, and are a chance for accelerated
growth for the students. Trip locations for the past three years have
included Kingston, Jamaica, Managua, Nicaragua, and El Estor, Guatemala.

- Domestic – The Duke Catholic Center
sponsors domestic mission trips during fall and spring breaks. These
trips offer an opportunity to see and aid the forgotten areas of our society. Volunteer
sites have included soup kitchens, shelters, and schools.
